How this started

crisp-node began in 2019 when three operations directors got tired of watching good companies struggle with bad processes.

We'd all spent years in mid-market firms—manufacturing, professional services, retail operations—and we'd seen the same pattern everywhere: businesses that grew faster than their processes could handle.

The traditional consultants weren't helping. They'd arrive, observe for months, deliver a report, then leave. Nothing changed. The problems remained.

We wanted to build something different: a consultancy that measured success by operational improvement, not billable hours. One that implemented solutions instead of just recommending them.
